ei saptadaśa prakāra ādi-līlāra prabandha
dvādaśa prabandha tāte grantha-mukhabandha


SYNONYMS

ei saptadaśa — these seventeen; prakāra — varieties; ādi-līlāra — of the Adi-līlā (first canto); prabandha — subject matter; dvādaśa — twelve; prabandha — subject matters; tāte — among those; grantha — of the book; mukha-bandha — prefaces.


TRANSLATION

Thus there are seventeen varieties of subjects in the first canto, which is known as the Adi-līlā. Twelve of these constitute the preface of this scripture.
