tomā-sabāra śāstra-kartā—seha bhrānta haila
nā jāni’ śāstrera marma aiche ājñā dila


SYNONYMS

tomā-sabāra — of all of you; śāstra-kartā — compilers of scripture; seha — they also; bhrānta — mistaken; haila — became; jāni’ — without knowing; śāstrera marma — the essence of scriptures; aiche — such; ājñā — order; dila — gave.


TRANSLATION

“There are many mistakes and illusions in your scriptures. Their compilers, not knowing the essence of knowledge, gave orders that were against reason and argument.”
