prabhura āgamana teṅha tāhāṅi śunila

śīghra nīlācala yāite tāṅra icchā haila

SYNONYMS

prabhura āgamana—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's return; teṅha—he; tāhāṅi—there; śunila—heard; śīghra—very soon; nīlācala—to Jagannātha Purī; yāite—to go; tāṅra—his; icchā—desire; haila—became.

TRANSLATION

While residing at the house of Śacīmātā, Paramānanda Purī heard the news of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's return to Jagannātha Purī. He therefore decided to go there as soon as possible.
