sagaṇe sacele giyā kaila gaṅgā-snāna
bhaktira mahimā tāhāṅ karila vyākhyāna


SYNONYMS

sa-gaṇe — with His followers; sa-cele — without leaving the clothes; giyāgoing; kaila — did; gaṅgā-snāna — bathing in the Ganges; bhaktira — of devotional service; mahimā — glories; tāhāṅ — there; karila — did; vyākhyāna — explanation.


TRANSLATION

Without even removing His garments, Lord Caitanya took a bath in the Ganges with His companions. There He explained the glories of devotional service.
