CC Madhya 18.186
- citta ārdra haila tāṅra prabhure dekhiyā
- ‘nirviśeṣa-brahma’ sthāpe svaśāstra uṭhāñā
citta—heart; ārdra—softened; haila—became; tāṅra—his; prabhure dekhiyā—seeing Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu; nirviśeṣa-brahma—impersonal Brahman; sthāpe—wanted to establish; sva-śāstra uṭhāñā—raising his scripture.
The heart of that saintly person softened upon seeing Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. He wanted to talk to Him and establish impersonal Brahman on the basis of his own scripture, the Koran.
