My dear Radha Ballabha Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your telegram regarding Prabhupada’s Green Card. Actually I had already given the information to Bhagawat Asraya, the president of Delhi, and he was to call you on the telephone but apparently he has not done so. In any case here is the information you requested:

This is all the information contained on the Green Card. I hope you have gotten the newspaper clipping from Times of India sent to you care of Satsvarupa Maharaja? This newspaper article should be as good as a doctor’s certificate that Srila Prabhupada is too ill to travel at this time.

Regarding Srila Prabhupada’s health, His Divine Grace is translating quite regularly now, sometimes even twice a day. This does not mean however that He has recovered his health. Rather, His Divine Grace is working on the transcendental platform and does not seem to be disturbed by His bodily condition. He still cannot get up or walk at all on His own and He is only eating a little bit. His health is improved to some extent since the time that the GBC were here. Everyday He goes before the Deities for darshan from 9:30 to 10.
