770617 - Letter to Puru from Tamal Krsna
June 17th, 1977
From: Tamal Krishna
My dear Puru Prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances. I beg to thank you for your letter dated May 31st, 1977.It was a pleasure hearing from you. Whatever items you are sending me can be sent to Vrndavana. I also require an AC-DC adapter. The model I had is very good. It is a “Gold” model YS-300, DC 300 mA. It works for 120 volts and 220 volts as well as for batteries of the following sizes: 4.5 volts, 6 volts, 7.5 volts, and 9 volts. The temple electrician knows the model. I also require two more packages of Ricola Swiss Herb Candy, as my stock has just run out. I find it to be the best measure against sore throats. I will be very grateful if you can arrange to have these brought here at the earliest opportunity as all of the items are very much needed. Also I need “NO [illegible handwritten insert] of Wilkinson Sword injector blades.
You may also request Adi Kesava Maharaja to send me continually new photos of all of the Deities as well as any other transcendental activities for showing to Srila Prabhupada. Any large photos of Radha-Govinda or Radha-Damodar or the new Gaura-Nitai Deities (large meaning for hanging in Prabhupada’s rooms) can also be sent with traveling devotees. As you are missing my association, I am very much missing you and all the other devotees in New York. I very often remember all of you and desire to be with you. We are linked up by Prabhupada’s service. Yes, Srila Prabhupada’s health is improving. Today he translated in the afternoon for the first time in many years [sic], and says that he will try to translate at night as well. Please continue the 24 hour kirtan and have all the devotees pray intensely for Prabhupada’s full recovery.
Hoping this meets you well.
