From: Jagadisha, Akshayananda
Dear Akshayananda Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Please find enclosed a check for $350. U.S. from our temple in Portland, Oregon made out to Srila Prabhupada, (A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami). The check is written on the First National Bank of Oregon, 26th and East Burnside Branch in Portland. The check number is 2618.Please deposit this check into Srila Prabhupada’s account number 1. Generally the bank gives us a rate of exchange that is 15 N.P. higher than the current standard bank rate. Please inform Srila Prabhupada at what rate they calculate the exchange. Also, they generally do not charge anything for service charge. Make sure they follow this agreement. Also inform about this.
Also, Srila Prabhupada wants that model of the Jagannath Puri temple that is sitting on His desk in His room in Vrindaban. It is a small model enclosed in a light bulb. I think you must have noticed it. Please pack it up very carefully and send it by post to Bombay. Thank you.
Hoping this meets you in good health.
Your servant,
