710730 - Letter to David written from New York

His Divine Grace
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

30th July, 1971

CENTER: 439 Henry Street Brooklyn, N.Y. 11231

My Dear David,

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letter dated 24th July, 1971 and have noted the contents with pleasure. I am so glad to hear how you are happily engaged in Krishna’s service there at New Vrindaban. Simply if you will go on working with great enthusiasm for making our New Vrindaban community project a grand success, then Krishna will surely bless you for making rapid advancement in Krishna Consciousness. And take care of the cows nicely. It is nice to hear that we have got a new calf there. New Vrindaban means cow protection. So tend them nicely.

By your description of the cows, crops and devotees, I am becoming very much attracted for going there. But presently I am scheduled to go to Europe for some time. But when I return to USA perhaps at that time I may come and visit there. So for the time being you should work very hard for Krishna and try to grasp a deep understanding of this philosophy. If there are any questions, you should refer them to the elder members. Chant at least 16 rounds of beads daily, follow the regulative principles and be happy in Krishna’s service.

Hoping this will meet you in good health.

Your ever well-wisher,

A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
