anuvarṇitam etat te
mārkaṇḍeyasya dhīmataḥ
anubhūtaṁ bhagavato
māyā-vaibhavam adbhutam


SYNONYMS

anuvarṇitam — described; etat — this; te — to you; mārkaṇḍeyasya — by Mārkaṇḍeya; dhī-mataḥ — the intelligent; anubhūtam — experienced; bhagavataḥ — of the Personality of Godhead; māyā-vaibhavam — the opulence of the illusory energy; adbhutam — amazing.

TRANSLATION

I have thus narrated to you the activities of the highly intelligent sage Mārkaṇḍeya, especially how he experienced the amazing power of the Supreme Lord's illusory energy.
