gṛhṇantī kāla āgate
aṇḍāni suṣuve nīḍe
sta-patyuḥ sannidhau satī

TRANSLATION

Then the female pigeon experienced her first pregnancy. When the time arrived, the chaste lady delivered a number of eggs within the nest in the presence of her husband.
