etau bhagavataḥ sākṣād
dharer nārāyaṇasya hi
avatīrṇāv ihāṁśena
vasudevasya veśmani


SYNONYMS

etau — these two; bhagavataḥ — of the Supreme Lord; hareḥ — of Lord Hari; nārāyaṇasya — Nārāyaṇa; hi — certainly; avatīrṇau — have descended; iha — to this world; aṁśena — as expansions; vasudevasya — of Vasudeva; veśmani — in the home.

[The people said:] These two boys are certainly expansions of the Supreme Lord Nārāyaṇa who have descended to this world in the home of Vasudeva.
