TEXT No. 8

Gantum kritamatir brahman dwarkam ratham asthith
Upaleve' bhidhavantim uttaram bhayavihlam.


ENGLISH SYNONYMS

Gantum—just desiring to start, Kritamatir—having decided, Brahman—oh the brahmin, Dwarkam—towards Dwarka, Ratha—on the chariot, Asthitam—seated, Upaleve—saw, Abhidhavantim—coming dexterously, Utttaram—of the name, Bhayavihlam—being afraid of.


TRANSLATION

As soon as he got Himself seated on the chariot just starting for Dwarka He saw that Uttara coming to Him hurriedly being too much afraid of.


PURPORT

All members of the family of the Pandavas were completely dependant on the protection of the Lord and therefore the Lord also protected all of them at all circumstances. The Lord Protects everyone, but one who depends completely upon Him is specially looked upon by the Lord as if the father is more attentive on the little son who is exclusively dependant on the father.
