āsiyā kahena saba bhaṭṭathāri-gaṇe
āmāra brāhmaṇa tumi rākha ki kāraṇe


SYNONYMS

āsiyā — coming; kahena — He said; saba — all; bhaṭṭathāri-gaṇe — to the Bhaṭṭathāris; āmāra — My; brāhmaṇabrāhmaṇa assistant; tumi — you; rākha — are keeping; ki — for what; kāraṇe — reason.


TRANSLATION

Upon reaching their community, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu asked the Bhaṭṭathāris, “Why are you keeping My brāhmaṇa assistant?
