pūrvavat kona vipre kaila nimantraṇa
sei rātri tāhāṅ rahi’ karilā gamana


SYNONYMS

pūrva-vat — as previously; kona — some; viprebrāhmaṇa; kaila — made; nimantraṇa — invitation; sei rātri — that night; tāhāṅ — there; rahi’ — staying; karilā — did; gamana — touring.


TRANSLATION

As usual, a brāhmaṇa offered Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu an invitation. The Lord passed the night in the temple and then commenced His tour again.
