yadyapi viccheda doṅhāra sahana nā yāya
tathāpi daṇḍavat kari’ calilā rāma-rāya


SYNONYMS

yadyapi—although; viccheda—separation; doṅhāra—of both of them; sahana—toleration; nā—not; yāya—possible; tathāpi—still; daṇḍavat—obeisances; kari’—offering; calilā—departed; rāma-rāya—Rāmānanda Rāya.


TRANSLATION

Although neither could tolerate separation from the other, Rāmānanda Rāya nonetheless offered his obeisances to Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and departed.
