grantha bāḍe, punarukti haya ta' kathana
tāhāṅ ye nā likhiluṅ, tāhā kariye likhana


SYNONYMS

grantha — the size of the book; bāḍe — increases; punar-ukti — repetition; haya — would be; ta kathana — of subject matters once described; tāhāṅ — there (in the Seventh Chapter); ye — whatever; likhiluṅ — I have not described; tāhā — that; kariye likhana — I am writing.


TRANSLATION

Since I have already described this incident very elaborately in the Seventh Chapter of the Adi-līlā, I do not wish to increase the size of this book by giving another description. However, I shall try to include in this chapter whatever was not described there.
