kabhu kuñje rahe, kabhu rahe grāmāntare
sei bhakta, tāhāṅ āsi' dekhaye tāṅhāre


SYNONYMS

kabhu—sometimes; kuñje—in the bushes; rahe—remains; kabhu—sometimes; rahe—He stays; grāma-antare—in a different village; sei bhakta—that devotee; tāhāṅ āsi'-coming there; dekhaye tāṅhāre—sees Him.


TRANSLATION

In this way, giving some excuse, Gopāla sometimes remains in the bushes of the forest, and sometimes He stays in a village. One who is a devotee comes to see the Deity.
