āriṭe rādhā-kuṇḍa-vārtā puche loka-sthāne
keha nāhi kahe, saṅgera brāhmaṇa nā jāne

āriṭe — in the village known as Āriṭ-grāma; rādhā-kuṇḍa-vārtā — news of Rādhā-kuṇḍa; puche — inquires; loka-sthāne — from the local people; keha — anyone; nāhi — not; kahe — could say; saṅgera — the companion; brāhmaṇabrāhmaṇa; jāne — does not know.


TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu asked the local people, “Where is Rādhā-kuṇḍa?” No one could inform Him, and the brāhmaṇa accompanying Him did not know either.
