dūra haite tāhā dekhi’ lokera haya ‘bhrama’
‘kālīyera śarīre kṛṣṇa kariche nartana’!


SYNONYMS

dūra haite — from a distant place; tāhā dekhi’ — seeing that; lokera — of people in general; haya — there is; bhrama — mistake; kālīyera — of the snake Kālīya; śarīre — on the body; kṛṣṇa — Lord Kṛṣṇa; kariche nartana — is dancing.


TRANSLATION

“From a distance, people mistakenly think that they are seeing Kṛṣṇa dancing on the body of the Kālīya serpent.
