prātaḥ-kāle bhavya-loka prabhu-sthāne āilā
‘kṛṣṇa dekhi’ āilā?’—prabhu tāṅhāre puchilā


SYNONYMS

prātaḥ-kāle—the next morning; bhavya-loka—respectable gentlemen; prabhu-sthāne—at the place of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āilā—came; kṛṣṇa dekhi’—seeing Lord Kṛṣṇa; āilā—have you come; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāṅhāre puchilā—inquired from them.


TRANSLATION

The next morning some respectable gentlemen came to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and the Lord asked them, “Have you seen Kṛṣṇa?”
