“eka sannyāsī āilā jagannātha haite
tāṅhāra mahimā-pratāpa nā pāri varṇite


SYNONYMS

eka—a; sannyāsī—person in the renounced order of life; āilā—has come; jagannātha haite—from Jagannātha Purī; tāṅhāra—His; mahimā—glories; pratāpa—influence; nā pāri varṇite—I cannot describe.


TRANSLATION

The brāhmaṇa told Prakāśānanda Sarasvatī, “There is a sannyāsī who has come from Jagannātha Purī, and I cannot describe His wonderful influence and glories.
