gadādhare chāḍi' genu, iṅho duḥkha pāila
sei hetu vṛndāvana yāite nārila


SYNONYMS

gadādhare chāḍi — leaving aside Gadādhara Paṇḍita; genu — I went; iṅho — Gadādhara Paṇḍita; duḥkha pāila — became unhappy; sei hetu — for that reason; vṛndāvana — to Vṛndāvana-dhāma; yāite nārila — I was unable to go.


TRANSLATION

"I left Gadādhara Paṇḍita here, and he became very unhappy. For this reason I could not go to Vṛndāvana."
