bahuta utkaṇṭhā tāṅra, karyāche vinaya
tomā-sane ei sandhi, nāhi yuddha-bhaya'


SYNONYMS

bahuta — very much; utkaṇṭhā — anxiety; tāṅra — his; karyāche — has made; vinaya — submissive petition; tomā-sane — with you; ei — this; sandhi — a peace proposal; nāhi — there is not; yuddha-bhaya — fear of fighting.


TRANSLATION

"The Muslim governor is very eager, and he has submitted this petition with great respect. It is a proposal for peace. You need not fear that we will fight."
