dvārera upara bhite teṅho hāta dila
sei hāte phala chuṅila, paṇḍita dekhila


SYNONYMS

dvārera upara — above the door; bhite — on the ceiling; teṅho — he; hāta dilabrushed his hand; sei hāte — with that hand; phala chuṅila — touched the fruit; paṇḍita — Rāghava Paṇḍita; dekhila — saw.


TRANSLATION

“Rāghava Paṇḍita then saw that the servant touched the ceiling above the door and then touched the coconuts with the same hand.
