tāvat rahiba āmi ethāya vasiyā
yāvat nā khāibe tumi prasāda āsiyā


SYNONYMS

tāvat — as long as; rahiba — shall stay; āmi — I; ethāyahere; vasiyā — sitting; yāvat — as long as; khāibe — will not eat; tumi — you; prasāda — remnants of the food of Jagannātha; āsiyā — coming here.


TRANSLATION

“I shall stay here until you return to take Lord Jagannātha’s remnants for your lunch.”
