‘mātsarya’-caṇḍāla kene ihāṅ vasāile
parama pavitra sthāna apavitra kaile


SYNONYMS

mātsaryajealousy; caṇḍāla — the lowest of men; kene — why; ihāṅhere; vasāile — you allowed to sit; parama pavitra — most purified; sthānaplace; apavitra — impure; kaile — you have made.


TRANSLATION

“Why have you allowed the caṇḍāla of jealousy to sit here also? In this way you have contaminated a most purified place, your heart.
