anuṣaṅga-phale kare saṁsārera kṣaya
citta ākarṣiyā karāya kṛṣṇe premodaya


SYNONYMS

anuṣaṅga-phale — as a simultaneous result; kare — does; saṁsārera kṣayaannihilation of entanglement in the material world; citta — thought; ākarṣiyā — attracting; karāya — causes; kṛṣṇe — unto Lord Kṛṣṇa; prema-udayaarousal of transcendental love.


TRANSLATION

“By chanting the holy name of the Lord, one dissolves his entanglement in material activities. After this, one becomes very much attracted to Kṛṣṇa, and thus dormant love for Kṛṣṇa is awakened.
