‘dhīrā’ kānte dūre dekhi’ kare pratyutthāna
nikaṭe āsile, kare āsana pradāna


SYNONYMS

dhīrā — the sober; kānte — the hero; dūre — from a distance; dekhi’ — after seeing; kare pratyutthāna — stands up; nikaṭe āsile — when the hero comes nearby; karedoes; āsana — of a seat; pradāna — offering.


TRANSLATION

“When a sober heroine sees her hero approaching from a distance, she immediately stands up to receive him. When he comes near, she immediately offers him a place to sit.
