eta bali’ sei śloka paḍe bāra bāra
dui-janāra aṅge kampa, netre jala-dhāra


SYNONYMS

eta bali’ — saying this; sei śloka — that verse; paḍe — recites; bāra bāraagain and again; dui-janāra — of both of them (Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and King Pratāparudra); aṅge — in the bodies; kampa — trembling; netre — in the eyes; jala-dhāra — flow of water.


TRANSLATION

After saying this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu began to recite the same verse again and again. Both the King and Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu were trembling, and tears were flowing from their eyes.
