pāṇḍu-vijaya dekhibāre karila gamana
jagannātha yātrā kaila chāḍi’ siṁhāsana


SYNONYMS

pāṇḍu-vijaya — the ceremony named Pāṇḍu-vijaya; dekhibāre — for seeing; karila — did; gamana — go; jagannātha — Lord Jagannātha; yātrādeparture; kaila — did; chāḍi’ — leaving; siṁhāsana — the throne.


TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and His personal associates then went to see the ceremony of Pāṇḍu-vijaya. During this ceremony, Lord Jagannātha leaves His throne and gets up onto the car.
