kīrtanīyā-gaṇe dila mālya-candana
svarūpa, śrīvāsa,—yāhāṅ mukhya dui-jana


SYNONYMS

kīrtanīyā-gaṇe — unto the performers of saṅkīrtana; dila — gave; mālya-candana — garlands and sandalwood pulp; svarūpa — Svarūpa; śrīvāsa — Śrīvāsa; yāhāṅ — where; mukhya — principal; dui-jana — two persons.


TRANSLATION

The Lord also gave garlands and sandalwood pulp to the performers of saṅkīrtana. The two chief performers were Svarūpa Dāmodara and Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura.
