śata śata su-cāmara-darpaṇe ujjvala
upare patākā śobhe cāṅdoyā nirmala


SYNONYMS

śata śata—hundreds upon hundreds; su-cāmara—beautiful white whisks; darpaṇe—with mirrors; ujjvala—very bright; upare—on the top; patākā—flag; śobhe—looks beautiful; cāṅdoyā—canopy; nirmala—thoroughly cleansed.


TRANSLATION

The decorations included bright mirrors and hundreds and hundreds of cāmaras [white whisks made of yak tails]. On top of the car were a neat and clean canopy and a very beautiful flag.
