bāndhulīra phula jini’ adhara suraṅga
īṣat hasita kānti—amṛta-taraṅga


SYNONYMS

bāndhulīra phula — a kind of red flower named bāndhulī; jini’ — conquering; adhara — chin; su-raṅga — buff color; īṣat — mild; hasitasmiling; kānti — luster; amṛta — nectar; taraṅga — waves.


TRANSLATION

The chin of the Lord, tinged with buff color, conquered the beauty of the bāndhulī flower. This increased the beauty of His mild smiling, which was like lustrous waves of nectar.
