mana jāni’ prabhu punaḥ nā balila tāṅre


SYNONYMS

pāche — at last; more — unto me; prasāda — remnants of food; govinda — the personal servant of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; dibe — will deliver; bahir-dvāre — outside the door; mana jāni’ — understanding the mind; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; punaḥ — again; — not; balila — called; tāṅre — him.


TRANSLATION

“Govinda will give me prasādam later, outside the door.” Understanding his mind, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu did not call him again.
