śuni’ śivānanda-sena premāviṣṭa hañā
daṇḍavat hañā pade śloka paḍiyā


SYNONYMS

śuni’ — hearing; śivānanda-sena — Śivānanda Sena; prema-āviṣṭa hañābecoming absorbed in pure love; daṇḍavat hañā — offering obeisances; paḍe — falls down; śloka — a verse; paḍiyā — reciting.


TRANSLATION

Immediately upon hearing this, Śivānanda Sena became absorbed in ecstatic love and fell down on the ground, offering obeisances to the Lord. He then began to recite the following verse.
