phalgu-prāya bhaṭṭera nāmādi saba-vyākhyā
sarvajña prabhu jāni' tāre karena upekṣā


SYNONYMS

phalgu-prāya — generally useless; bhaṭṭera — of Vallabha Bhaṭṭa; nāma-ādi — the holy name and so on; saba — all; vyākhyā — explanations; sarva-jña — omniscient; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; jāni — knowing; tāre — him; karena upekṣā — neglects.


TRANSLATION

Being omniscient, Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu could understand that Vallabha Bhaṭṭa's explanations of Kṛṣṇa's name and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam were useless. Therefore He did not care about them.
