sei haite abhyantare nā karena gamana
bāhire durgā-maṇḍape yāñā karena śayana


SYNONYMS

sei haite — from that day; abhyantare — in the interior rooms; karena gamana — did not go; bāhire — outside; durgā-maṇḍape — to the place where Durgā worship was performed; yāñā — going; karena śayana — he sleeps.


TRANSLATION

From that day on, he did not go into the interior section of the house. Instead, he would sleep on the Durgā-maṇḍapa [the place where mother Durgā was worshiped].
