saptadaśe--gābhī-madhye prabhura patana
kūrmākāra-anubhāvera tāhāṅi udgama


SYNONYMS

saptadaśe—in the Seventeenth Chapter; gābhī-madhye—among the cows; prabhura patana—the falling down of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kūrma-ākāra-anubhāvera—of ecstatic emotion in the form of a tortoise; tāhāṅi—there; udgama—awakening.


TRANSLATION

In the Seventeenth Chapter, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu fell among the cows and assumed the form of a tortoise as His ecstatic emotions awakened.
