pauṣa-māse āila duṅhe sāmagrī kariyā
sandhyā-paryanta rahe apekṣā kariyā


SYNONYMS

pauṣa-māse — the month of Pauṣa (December-January); āila — came; duṅhe — Śivānanda Sena and Jagadānanda; sāmagrī kariyā — making all arrangements; sandhyā-paryanta — until the evening; rahe — remain; apekṣā kariyā — waiting.


TRANSLATION

When the month of Pauṣa arrived, Jagadānanda and Śivānanda collected all kinds of paraphernalia for the Lord’s reception. Every day, they would wait until evening for the Lord to come.
