śuni' mahāprabhu īṣat hāsiyā rahilā
saba bhakta-gaṇa mane vismaya ha-ilā


SYNONYMS

śuni'—hearing; mahāprabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; īṣat—slightly; hāsiyā rahilā—remained smiling; saba bhakta-gaṇa—all the devotees; mane—in the minds; vismaya ha-ilā—became surprised.


TRANSLATION

While hearing the devotees lament, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was mildly smiling. Thus all the devotees were very astonished.
