siṁha-dvāre āsi' prabhu pasārira ṭhāṅi
āṅcala pātiyā prasāda māgilā tathāi


SYNONYMS

siṁha-dvāre āsi — coming in front of the Siṁha-dvāra; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; pasārira ṭhāṅi — from all the shopkeepers; āṅcala pātiyā — spreading His cloth; prasāda — Jagannātha's prasādam; māgilā — begged; tathāi — there.


TRANSLATION

Approaching the Siṁha-dvāra gate, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu spread His cloth and began to beg prasādam from all the shopkeepers there.
