aṅgane ārambhilā prabhu mahā-saṅkīrtana
vakreśvara-paṇḍita tāhāṅ karena nartana


SYNONYMS

aṅgane—in the courtyard; ārambhilā—began; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; mahā-saṅkīrtana—great congregational chanting; vakreśvara-paṇḍita—Vakreśvara Paṇḍita; tāhāṅ—there; karena nartana—danced.


TRANSLATION

Upon hearing this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu immediately began great congregational chanting in the courtyard. Vakreśvara Paṇḍita was the chief dancer.
