aṅgane ārambhilā prabhu mahā-saṅkīrtana
vakreśvara-paṇḍita tāhāṅ karena nartana


SYNONYMS

aṅgane — in the courtyard; ārambhilā — began; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; mahā-saṅkīrtana — great congregational chanting; vakreśvara-paṇḍita — Vakreśvara Paṇḍita; tāhāṅ — there; karena nartana — danced.


TRANSLATION

Upon hearing this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu immediately began great congregational chanting in the courtyard. Vakreśvara Paṇḍita was the chief dancer.
