caraṇe dhari' kahe haridāsa,—"nā kariha 'māyā'
avaśya mo-adhame, prabhu, kara ei 'dayā'


SYNONYMS

caraṇe — the lotus feet; dhari — catching; kahe — said; haridāsa — Haridāsa Ṭhākura; kariha māyā — do not create an illusion; avaśya — certainly; mo-adhame — unto me, who am so fallen; prabhu — my Lord; kara ei dayā — show this mercy.


TRANSLATION

Catching the lotus feet of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, Haridāsa Ṭhākura said, "My Lord, do not create an illusion! Although I am so fallen, You must certainly show me this mercy!
