kṛṣṇa-sāmye nahe tāṅra mādhuryāsvādana
bhakta-bhāve kare tāṅra mādhurya carvaṇa


SYNONYMS

kṛṣṇa-sāmye—on an equal level with Kṛṣṇa; nahe—not; tāṅra—His; mādhurya-āsvādana—relishing the sweetness; bhakta-bhāve—as a devotee; kare—does; tāṅra—His; mādhurya carvaṇa—chewing of the sweetness.


TRANSLATION

The sweetness of Lord Kṛṣṇa is not to be tasted by those who consider themselves equal to Kṛṣṇa. It is to be tasted only through the sentiment of servitude.
