sūrya candra bāhirera tamaḥ se vināśe
bahir-vastu ghaṭa-paṭa-ādi se prakāśe


SYNONYMS

sūrya — the sun; candra — the moon; bāhirera — of the external world; tamaḥ — darkness; se — they; vināśe — destroy; bahiḥ-vastu — external things; ghaṭa — waterpots; paṭa-ādi — plates, etc.; se — they; prakāśe — reveal.


TRANSLATION

The sun and moon dissipate the darkness of the external world and thus reveal external material objects like pots and plates.
