tadā mahotsavo nṟṇāṁ
yadu-puryāṁ gṛhe gṛhe
abhūd ananya-bhāvānāṁ
kṛṣṇe yadu-patau nṛpa


SYNONYMS

tadā—then; mahā-utsavaḥ—great rejoicing; nṟṇām—by the people; yadu-puryām—in the capital of the Yadus, Dvārakā; gṛhe gṛhe—in each and every home; abhūt—arose; ananya-bhāvānām—who had exclusive love; kṛṣṇe—for Kṛṣṇa; yadu-patau—the chief of the Yadus; nṛpa—O King (Parīkṣit).


TRANSLATION

At that time, O King, there was great rejoicing in all the homes of Yadupurī, whose citizens loved only Kṛṣṇa, chief of the Yadus.
