anuvarṇitam etat te
mārkaṇḍeyasya dhīmataḥ
anubhūtaṁ bhagavato
māyā-vaibhavam adbhutam


SYNONYMS

anuvarṇitam—described; etat—this; te—to you; mārkaṇḍeyasya—by Mārkaṇḍeya; dhī-mataḥ—the intelligent; anubhūtam—experienced; bhagavataḥ—of the Personality of Godhead; māyā-vaibhavam—the opulence of the illusory energy; adbhutam—amazing.


TRANSLATION

I have thus narrated to you the activities of the highly intelligent sage Mārkaṇḍeya, especially how he experienced the amazing power of the Supreme Lord's illusory energy.
