atikāla haila, loka chāḍiyā nā yāya
tabe nityānanda-gosāñi sṛjilā upāya


SYNONYMS

atikāla — very late; haila — it was; loka — the people in general; chāḍiyā — giving up; yāya — do not go; tabe — at that time; nityānanda — Śrīla Nityānanda Prabhu; gosāñi — the spiritual master; sṛjilā — invented; upāya — a means.


TRANSLATION

Seeing that it was already getting late, Lord Nityānanda Prabhu, the spiritual master, invented a means to disperse the crowd.
